This year I put up a 40/80 meter dipole and a 2m Isopole antenna and worked from the house using the HF vertical antenna (Cushcraft R5) powered by 3 deep cycle RV batteries plus a solar charger. |

I made 230 contacts which was the same as last year operating in E. WA, but since I operated from home, my competition ws the guys with the monster antennas and high power from generators, so I will place very low. I would have saved a lot of effort if I operated mobile from my car. |
